Annual Board Meeting & Club Brunch
- The Annual Board Meeting is typically held in June, and is hosted at an alumna’s home. All Chicago alumnae are invited to join the Board for brunch, discussion of the quarterly agenda, and election of Officers for the upcoming year.
Fall Board Meeting
- The Fall Board Meeting is typically held September, and is hosted at an alumna’s home. All Chicago alumnae are invited to join the Board for light refreshments and discussion of the quarterly agenda.
Know Your Alumnae Luncheon
- The Know Your Alumnae Luncheon (KYAL) typically occurs in November, and has been hosted in a variety of fine dining locations around Chicago. Every year, the Board invites a local alumna to share her post-BMC experiences; past KYAL speakers have presented on everything from founding a microbrewery to working at the Onion. Registration for this event typically runs about $30 ($15 for recent alumnae) per person.
Winter Board Meeting and Bi-Co Potluck Dinner
- The Bi-Co Winter Potluck is typically held in early January, and is hosted at a Bryn Mawr alumna’s home. Join fellow Bryn Mawr and Haverford alumni and current students for an evening of delicious food and delightful conversation in a relaxed setting. All Chicago Bryn Mawr alumnae are invited to join the Board prior to the potluck for discussion of the quarterly agenda.
Spring Board Meeting
- The Spring Board Meeting is typically held in March, and is hosted at an alumna’s home. All Chicago alumnae are invited to join the Board for light refreshments and discussion of the quarterly agenda.
May Day Benefit
- The May Day Benefit is held in late April/early May, and has been hosted at a variety of locations around Chicago. The May Day Benefit typically features a special presentation by a speaker from the College, the opportunity to bid on Bryn Mawr related items, and, of course, delicious food and the dynamic company of fellow alumnae. Profits from the Benefit are sent to the College to benefit the Midwest Endowed Scholarship Fund. Registration from this event is tiered, and runs from about $40 per person for the Morris Dancer level to $100 per person for the Queen of May level.
